Dear all,
On November 4, we will have our regular class, but instead of the Journal Club, we will move directly to the group project presentations.
Each group will have 10 minutes for the presentation, followed by 5 minutes for questions and discussion.
I would like to remind you that the group project is an important component of your final grade for the Conservation module. You can receive up to 8 points for the project, with the remaining 14 points coming from the final exam, for a total of 22 points for the Conservation module, including the possibility of an honour (lode).
For this reason, the presentation is an important part of the assessment. I will evaluate not only the overall quality of the project, but also each student’s individual contribution, and the project grade will be assigned individually.
If you have any scheduling conflicts on November 4, for example with other classes, field trips, or thesis-related commitments, please let me know as soon as possible. I would like to find solutions that work for everyone and make sure that no one is unfairly penalised in their final grade because of unavoidable conflicts.
Best,
Flavia
