Dear students,
I uploaded the recording and the notes of the fourth MATH4U lesson. In the last pages, you will find the exercises I solved and some additional ones.
During the lesson, I introduced the little-o notation which allows the rewrite of a function with its polynomial approximation. The theory behind it will be clear in a few weeks, but it is a useful tool for calculating the limits so I anticipated it now. I uploaded the file "Taylor-McLaurin Formulas" with the approximations for the fundamental functions that you can use in solving the exercises.
My plan for the following MATH4U lecture is to keep solving exercises about limits using this tool.
