  • Course Rules

    The 3 CFU for the “Seminars and Other Activities” course may be earned in one of the following ways:

    1. By successfully passing the “Advanced Topics in Data Science” course.
    2. By obtaining an English proficiency certificate at B2 level (productive skills) or higher.
      • The certification must be obtained by attending the course 50-hr English (B2 productive skills) during the degree program; pre-obtained certifications are not accepted.
    3. By attending two mini-courses (12 hours each) offered as part of the “Seminars
      and Other Activities” course.
      • At least 80% attendance is required in each mini-course.
      • A written essay on one of the attended mini-courses must be submitted.
      • The essay must be submitted via the Moodle page. A dedicated section on the Moodle page will be opened during the exam session.

    In order to pass the exam and get the 3CFUs for the seminarial activity you'll have to

    - attend at least 80% of the scheduled lectures in each mini-course;

    - write an essay on one of the attended courses;

    - the essay cannot be written using AI tools;

    - register for an exam session on Uniweb.

    FOR STUDENTS IN ENROLLED IN A.Y. 25/26. you can register the 3CFUs in the exam starting from sessions January-February 2027. You can however upload your essay here.

    The essay should contain a summary of at least 3 pages on one of the attended minicourses
