The 2026 Future Scientist Exchange Program (FuSEP), organised by the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), will be held in Hefei (Anhui, People's Republic of China) from 22 June to 30 July 2026.
With the theme of "Science and Technology for a Shared Future", the 2026 FuSEP Summer Research will select excellent students to work on scientific research projects in top-tier research teams supervised by USTC professors for 6 weeks.
Participants are expected to submit a report highlighting their research findings at USTC.
Beyond the research experience, the program offers a diverse array of activities, including lectures on academic topics, visits to world-leading national laboratories, tours to Chinese cultural sites, and interactions with USTC student clubs.
USTC Fellowships for excellent students (including a travel grant and meal plan) are available.
