Cort-IA: A Screenwriting Contest for Film Scripts Co-Written with AI, Organized by SophIA and Rai Cinema
Cort-IA is a pioneering contest dedicated to screenplays co-written with Large Language Models, organized by SophIA in collaboration with Rai Cinema. The initiative is part of an ongoing research and innovation effort involving the Universities of Bolzano, Trieste, and LUMSA.
The winning screenplay will be awarded with the production of the short film. Additionally, Rai Cinema Channel, the contest’s media partner, will consider the potential acquisition of the winning project.
Participants are invited to submit a screenplay for a short film, co-authored with AI tools. Submissions must transparently document the techniques and processes employed, including models, APIs, fine-tuning methods, prompts, AI-generated dialogues, suggested narrative structures, and more.
An esteemed jury, composed of both artistic and technical experts, will evaluate each submission based on narrative quality, with particular emphasis on the originality and effectiveness of the AI-driven creative process.
