on October 1st, we will hold the first introductory lecture of the Biopolymers Engineering course, during which all information about the course will be provided. I look forward to seeing you there!
In this course, we will explore biopolymers and their applications in two key areas: polymeric biomaterials for biomedicine on one hand, and bioplastics for environmental protection on the other. Both are linked by the "bio" dimension, which pertains to living systems. Topics will include regenerative medicine, 3D bioprinting, natural polymers, and bioplastics.
The course also includes 10 hours of laboratory work, focused on the preparation and characterization of hydrogel biomaterials and bioplastics, as well as cell cultures.
A detailed overview of the course structure and the examination methods will be given during the first lecture.
I kindly ask you to enroll in the course only if you plan to attend, so that we can accurately estimate the number of participants and properly organize the laboratory sessions and group activities.
