The course aims to equip students with the theoretical and methodological tools necessary to understand the nature of network design problems. Students will learn to develop proper models of network systems and dimension their parts using analytical and theoretical approaches. The course includes advanced topics such as convex optimization, queueing theory, Markov Decision Processes (MDPs), with a strong emphasis on practical applications and use cases to exemplify theoretical arguments.

For admin reason, the course is named "Netowrk Analysis" in the current academic year, though it is equivalnet to the course Network Modelking, which will officially be offered next year. Students of the first year are invited to attend the course that wiull be offered the next year, while Network Analysis is for those that are already at the second year and planned to take "Network Modeling".
