Upon completion of the course, the student will possess knowledge regarding Wind and Hydraulic turbines.
As the primary objective, the course aims to equip the student to:
- Determine the key dimensions of wind turbines.
- Calculate the energy generated by a wind farm.
- The student will be capable of applying this knowledge in projects that involve these machines as components of a power plant.
The secondary objective of this course is to understand how to implement fundamental principles of fluid mechanics and mechanical systems in relation to hydraulic turbines. Additionally, to gain insight into the selection criteria and design aspects of hydraulic turbines.
