    • UNIPD events for finding an internship and thesis projects:

      - Every year, the University of Padua organizes events, uniting academia with industry in the form of a career fair. The event is called Universita Aperta Career Day and usually is held in person.

      - Twice a year (approximately at the beginning of winter and summer semesters), you can hear from over a hundred companies from Italy and abroad. In addition, you can present yourself, and how your skills make you a decent candidate for the company

      - When attending the Universita Aperta Career Day event, consider printing several copies of your CV, since you can leave them to the recruiters of the companies you like. This is the ultimate chance to start your career after the university, or find an internship or thesis project!

      - In addition, every year Universita Aperta organizes a Business Game for Data Scientists event. This is a short solo hackathon.  Before participating in the hackathon, you must pick several companies for a 5-minute interview. After the hackathon results announcement, you will have a series of interviews with the companies you selected. If your position is decent on the leaderboard, you will likely get a job at the company you like!
