Welcome to "Quantum Technologies" at the University of Padova!
This course explores experimental methods for quantum technologies, with a focus on photonics and quantum optics. You'll learn the techniques needed to develop photonic-based quantum devices through both theory and practice.
Course structure:
Initial theoretical lectures on quantum technologies and required notions for the lab activities
Hands-on sessions where you'll design, build, and analyze optical setups
Course materials: Slides are available below.
Timetable (Second Semester):
Initial lectures (February):
Monday, Feb 23 – 12:30-14:30, Room Oe
Tuesday, Feb 24 – 8:30-10:30, Room Pe
Monday, Mar 2 – 12:30-14:30, Room Oe
Tuesday, Mar 3 – 8:30-10:30, Room Pe
Lab sessions (from March 9 onwards):
Mondays – 12:30-14:30, Didactic Lab, Via Trasea 7
Tuesdays – 8:30-10:30, Didactic Lab, Via Trasea 7
