Internship: opportunities, procedures and who to contact
Please note that study plans of the Master's degree programmes in:
- Aerospace Engineering
- Chemical and Process Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Energy Engineering
- Materials Engineering
do not foresee a mandatory internship. You can perform an internship as part of your thesis work or as an extra-curricular activity.
A short or long intership can be added in the "Other activities" in the AMASE curriculum of the degree programme in Materials Engineering.
The office in charge of internship procedures is the Career Service. If you are interest to have a work experience throughout your studies, please have a look at the dedicated page of the Career Service, providing you with information on how to find, activate and conclude an internship as part of your University career. For specific inquiries, please contact the Career Service.
We recommend you also check out the dedicated UNIPD Careers portal and the DII STEM portal where offers from companies are published.
Once you have obtained an internship opportunity in a company, you must activate the internship agreement with the University before starting your internship. There are specific procedures for internships in Italy and for internships abroad. For further information, see the dedicated Internships page.
