The graduation application must be submitted within the deadlines shown in the University website.

While filling in the form, the applicant will be required to enter to enter the official title of his/her thesis in both Italian and English. In case of theses in English, the English title will have to be entered in both fields.

For those wishing to withdraw, the graduation application must be cancelled in Uniweb.

For students having carried out their research for thesis abroad, the recognition and registration of the relevant credits is required. The student must then contact his/her Mobility Co-ordinator (or the Degree Programme Delegate for International Mobility, if the Mobility Co-ordinator is not from DII) in a timely manner and submit the required documentation. If the Supervisor does not belong to the Department of Industrial Engineering, his/her Department must also be stated on the thesis cover in addition to the Department of Industrial Engineering.

The final grade is calculated on the basis of the following resolution.

The grade awarded for the final examination is the sum of the evaluation of the following elements:
•    the candidate’s contribution to the work carried out and critical analysis of the results obtained;
•    the commitment shown by the candidate and the thoroughness with which the thesis was produced;
•    the quality of the written thesis itself and its presentation (completeness, correctness, clarity of presentation)
•    the significance of the theoretical methodologies employed and/or the experimental undertaking.

All new graduates will receive an e-mail from Bestr with instructions on how to pick up their Open Badge and Digital Degree Certificate, which can be shared via the main social networks and allow the recipients to automatically verify their authenticity.
