The old version of notes by Prof. Guiotto contained a trivial but confusing error in the computation of some coefficients involved in the Fibonacci's sequence. The error has come to my attention thanks to the question posed by a student this morning. I have corrected it, and riformulated the whole subject in a hopefully clearer exposition. Incidentally, now the section on applications of sequences (the one devoted to modelling, which of course is just for culture and is not included in the program) has been moved to the end of the chapter.
