Vitrification conditions: structural and kinetic theories. Phase separation
Structure of inorganic glasses and proposed models. Brief introduction to non-oxide glasses and glass-ceramics

Properties:
Rheological properties (viscosity; characteristic points)
Thermal properties (specific heat, thermal conductivity, thermal expansion)

Chemical properties (glass surface, acid and alkaline attack, water attack and weathering)
Electrical properties (ionic and electronic conductivity, semiconductor glasses)
