Dear Students,
The Advanced Biomaterials for Biomedicine course will start as scheduled on 30 September, unless unforeseen circumstances arise.
The course is organized into four modules, linking bio-based polymers for environmental applications and bioplastics with polymeric biomaterials for biomedicine, and progressing toward natural biopolymers used as bioplastics and hydrogel engineering and bioprinting, for tissue regeneration and in vitro human-relevant models.
The figure provides an overview of the course contents, which will be complemented by two experimental laboratory activities, each lasting half a day: one chemistry laboratory and one biology laboratory, both held at the Fiore di Botta building.
I therefore kindly ask you to enroll in the course as soon as possible, so that I can have an accurate estimate of the number of students attending and organize the laboratory activities in advance. The laboratory sessions will take place during the periods from 29 October to 5 November and from 10 December to 16 December.
I would also ask any student representatives attending the course, if already appointed, to send me their names and contact details.
