Course Introduction
Modern lifestyle relies heavily on hi-tech devices like laptops, e-watches, and foldable displays. At the heart of this revolution is Organic Electronics. This course isolates and explores the core engine of this field: Organic Field-Effect Transistors (OFETs), also referred to as Organic Thin-Film Transistors (OTFTs). While organic semiconductors (OSCs) drive various technologies, including OLEDs and photovoltaics, their application in transistor architectures represents the most critical foundation for modern flexible circuitry. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Decades of intensive scientific research have established OFETs as a transformative technology. This short course provides PhD students with a deep dive into the physics, engineering, and application of these devices.

Lab Sessions & Practical Application
The curriculum includes hands-on laboratory sessions. These experimental hours allow students to directly execute critical fabrication and characterization steps in the lab.

Course Examination
The final evaluation will be based on an oral examination in which students present a critical analysis of selected case studies from recent scientific literature.
