Courses

The course Sustainability and Digitalization of Metallurgical Processes focuses primarily on sustainable strategies for metal production and processing. It examines both direct and indirect metallurgy approaches, including the use of low-carbon energy sources, alternative reducing agents, process electrification, recycling, and improved resource and energy efficiency. Particular attention is given to the environmental impact of metallurgical operations and to the technological pathways available for reducing emissions, waste, and raw-material consumption.
